AI ethicist and researcher
am an AI ethicist, lecturer and researcher with a particular interest in how AI changes the way we work, make decisions and take responsibility.
I work at VIVES University of Applied Sciences and KU Leuven, where I teach and conduct research on AI ethics, wellbeing and coaching. I hold a doctorate in moral theology and have a background in educational sciences, teaching and professional coaching.
My work focuses on responsible AI governance, ethical risk assessment, AI literacy and human oversight. Rather than approaching ethics as a purely theoretical exercise, I explore how organisations can translate ethical principles into concrete policies, decisions and professional practices.
Through lectures, keynotes and workshops, I make complex ethical questions accessible and relevant to everyday practice. I enjoy creating space for reflection, dialogue and critical thinking — without losing sight of the practical challenges organisations face.
